Schiphol Airport can be reached easily from here by shuttle bus or Amsterdam Central train station. Tram numbers 16, 24 and 25 stop at the Heineken Brewery which is just the other side of the water to the hotel.

Sehr gute ruhige Lage. Vom Olympiastadion P+R gut mit der Straßenbahn 24 erreichbar, Zimmer vernachlässigt (Fensterrahmen fällt auseinander, Schimmel, Heizkörper dick mit Staub, Zimmer nicht für Allergiker geeignet, Badeinrichtung teilweise kaputt, Scwarzschimmel in den Fliesenfugen, Bettwäsche mit Löcher und Flecken). Frühstück hervorragend und lecker, etwas wortkarg nüchterne aber bei Anfrage auskunftsfreudige Hotelleitung (z.B. ein "Herzlich Willkommen im Hotel Kap" wäre schon mal ein erster Schritt"). Sehr steile gebäudetypische Treppe. Mit großem Koffer und für Gehbehinderte lebensgefährlich/Hinweis bei Buchung fehlt. Deutlicher Renovierungsstau im Zimmer und fragwürdiges Hygieneverständnis bzw. fehlende Kontrolle! (Argument "Wir sind ein altes Hotel" zählt hier nicht). Alles im Allen für 50,- pro Person und Tag inkl. Steuern zu teuer.

Top Lage und sehr freundliches Personal. Charmantes kleines Hotel mit wunderschönem kleinen Innenhof sowie überdurchschnittlichem kontinentalen Frühstück (u.a. warme Muffins, frisches Obst,...). Nachteil: sehr steile und enge Gangtreppe und äußerst weiche Matratzen. Das 1,5 qm Gangklo ist sehr beengt aber sauber.

Alloggio situato in un quartiere tranquillo a 5 min. dal centro collegato con più linee di tram. Ambiente familiare, pulito, gestori gentili e sempre disponibili, colazioni semplici e abbondanti ...consigliato.

La posizione non è male, anche se per arrivare in piazza Dam è meglio prendere il tram (altrimenti 15/20 min a piedi). le camere sono spartane, ma per il costo ci può stare. Bagno in camera. Unica cosa positivissima, è che si è a trecento metri dall'Heineken Experience!!
