Very basic but clean. When asked, got a hair dryer and electric kettle. However the main problem was shower - water didn't go down the drain - and thin walls. People slammed doors, sounded like gun shots. Otherwise very quiet location, conveniently close to the museum district and nightlife centre, about 2km to the centre and central station.Translate this guest review

This was our 1st trip to Amsterdam so we did not know what to expect of the accommodation available. Firstly the directions provided to Hotel Asterik were spot on, the reception staff, were very freindly and helpful. The room was very basic but clean and comfortable.I would certainly stay here again as the location made getting around by tram very easy, there are a number of attractions closeby so walking was another option. Thanks to the hotel and staff for a good stay.Translate this guest review

Déco de chambre un peu "vieillote", mais très propre, très calme et bien située (Rijks et Van Gogh Museum)
